DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FROM WINNIPEG (2.6 hours)

Go west on Trans-Canada Highway No. 1 approximately 88 km (53 miles).  Just west of Portage La Prairie turn right (north) at intersection of the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16).  Take Highway 16 through the towns of Gladstone, Neepawa and Minnedosa until you reach Highway 10 (about 116 km or 70 miles).  Turn right (north) on Highway 10 through the towns of Erickson and Onanole (about 50 km or 30 miles).  The entrance to Riding Mountain National Park is just past Onanole on Highway 10.  When you enter the park turn left on Wasagaming Drive, right on Buffalo Drive and right on Ta-wa-pit Drive.

FROM REGINA via BRANDON (1 hour)

Follow the Trans-Canada Highway east to Brandon. Go through the first set of traffic lights at Brandon (18th Street, or Highway No. 10 South) and proceed one more mile (1.6 km) to the 1st Street corner (Highway No. 10 North). Turn left and travel north (about 91 km or 55 miles) on Hwy No. 10 past Minnedosa and through the towns of Erickson and Onanole. The entrance to Riding Mountain National Park is just past Onanole on Highway 10.  When you enter the park turn left on Wasagaming Drive, right on Buffalo Drive and right on Ta-wa-pit Drive.

FROM DAUPHIN (55 minutes)

Take Highway 10 south through Riding Mountain National Park.  WATCH FOR WILDLIFE and please respect the reduced speeds posted in the park – you’ll be glad you did when you see how big moose really are! Approximately 4.5 km past the turnoff for the Clear Lake Golf Course exit right onto Ta-Wa-Pit Drive.  Go several blocks past the local cottages and shops.  Look for our office on the right-hand side of Ta-wa-Pit after you’ve crossed the intersection of Ta-wa-Pit and Buffalo Drive.
